Public consutlation on Circuses

In 2006, the Government ledge to Parliament  to ban 'certain non-domesticated animals' from travelling circuses, no action has been taken.  Even worse, the Government's inaction allowed three elephants to be brought into the country by the Great British Circus for their 2009 tour. An undercover investigation by ADI revealed the shocking animal abuse that goes on in many circuses. View footage here http://www.youtube.com/animaldefenders#p/a/1/z2H8n60p9RI

A ban on the use of wild animals in essential, and the UK Government has recently launched a public consultation on the use of wild animals in circuses. It is extremely important that we send the strongest message calling for a ban before. The deadline is 15th march, so act now.
