Fortnightly update going out to over 1625 subscribers

The week of action against real-fur sporrans is two weeks away. We've got actions taking place in Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness, Oxford and more in the pipeline! So if you are in/around one of these areas, drop us an email and come along to make your voice heard – its time to put an end to real-fur.

We’d also like to make an appeal today to everyone receiving this newsletter – we need your help. EVA started up with the aim of providing a platform for campaigning and outreach. And its up to each and every one of us to make a difference. We run weekly stalls, protest, demo, organize school talks, workshops, food fairs, run websites, produce a fortnightly newsletter, and now we are working to take the animal rights, and vegan message across Scotland.  As a voluntary organization, with little available funds, we are proud of what we have achieved. Here’s a list of what we did last year http://ethicalvoiceforanimals.org.uk/shownotice.php?articleid=75

But there’s a lot more to be done and we want you to participate in our campaigning. Perhaps you can help man a stall, or manage our websites, maybe send a donation or fundraise, or help organize an event? Its up to you and up to me. There are more than 1600 people receiving this appeal today – please don’t leave it up to someone else. Look forward to hearing from you.  info@ethicalvoiceforanimals.org.uk

Last week, we heard that chimpanzees mourn their dead like humans do, research finds: In a pair of studies, researchers observe the animals comforting the dying and showing signs of trauma after a death - is this really news to anyone? http://ethicalvoiceforanimals.org.uk/shownotice.php?articleid=66

Giving a home to a rescued companion animal is fantastic – but with it comes the responsibility to offer love, proper care and be a good companion in return.
