New MPs' position on the Hunting Act
LACS

10.05.10

The League Against Cruel Sports has published an analysis of the new House of Commons and its members position on repeal of the Hunting Act.

Calculations in the document show that whilst some 293 Members of Parliament would be likely to vote in favour of repeal of the Hunting Act, 328 would be likely to vote against. The data was based on thousands of emails and letters collected by the League over the last twelve months.

The document also includes a full listing of MPs who say they would vote for repeal, against repeal, those who are undecided or who would abstain, and those who did not respond to constituents' questions on the issue.

The document can be downloaded here http://www.league.org.uk/uploads/media/28/7342.pdf and you can take a quick e-action here http://e-activist.com/ea-campaign/clientcampaign.do?ea.client.id=122&ea.campaign.id=5193
